The Melnichenko Foundation met with a delegation from China
On July 26, a meeting took place in Moscow between representatives of the Melnikov Foundation and a delegation from the People's Republic of China. The Melnikov Foundation was represented by Alexandra Didenko, Director of the Education Department, while the Chinese side was represented by Yan Shi, Director of the Science Projects Center of the Guanghua Science Foundation, and Shi Tianqi, Program Manager of the International Department of the All-China Youth Federation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed several key issues, including the joint organization of the International BRICS+ Future Makers Award, officially scheduled to launch on August 29, 2024. This award aims to support young scientists and innovative projects, representing a significant step in strengthening international scientific cooperation among BRICS, CIS, and SCO countries, as well as nations that have applied for BRICS membership.
Additionally, the parties explored prospects for collaboration within the BRICS+ League of Foundations in the field of science and education. They reviewed joint initiatives aimed at supporting young talents, exchanging experiences, and creating new educational programs.
As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached to expand cooperation and implement joint Russian-Chinese projects and programs aimed at strengthening humanitarian partnerships within the BRICS and SCO regions.
