Outcomes of the First Strategic Session of the BRICS+ League of Funds in the Field of Science and Education Development

On June 7, 2024, in St. Petersburg, the BRICS+ League of Funds in the field of science and education development successfully held a strategic session focused on discussing the key issues of the League's activities.

During the event, Tatiana Zhuravleva, the CEO of the Andrey Melnichenko Foundation, elaborated on the mission and goals of the organization, key projects, initiatives, and achieved results, including their impact on society and prospects for further development. Participants highly appreciated the foundation's contribution to supporting social and educational programs.

Additionally, initiatives and projects proposed by the League members were discussed and adopted. Priority areas for further activity were identified, including key tasks and goals, as well as a strategy for engaging partners, which will facilitate the creation of a network for cooperation and experience sharing.

Issues concerning the organization of the "BRICS+ Future Makers Award" International Award, selection criteria, and awarding of laureates were also discussed. The approval of the Award nominations will take place in early July, and its launch is scheduled for mid-July. Award winners will have a unique opportunity to participate in the "BRICS Business Incubator" international acceleration program, where they will receive post-program project support.

The strategic session not only laid the foundation for ambitious scientific and educational projects but also demonstrated the power of a collective approach to solving global challenges. The creation of the BRICS+ League of Funds represents a significant step forward in strengthening international ties and forming a platform for sustainable development.
